You pause the DVD, then walk into the office and touch a single key on the award-winning and elegant Xantech wall keypad. Expansion—Eight Is Not Enough For larger homes, where eight zones simply aren’t enough, the MRC88 can be expanded with the purchase of another MRC88 Controller/Amplifier (and the appropriate number of additional keypads). This results in an Eight-Source, 16 Zone system; enough for almost any installation the average dealer/installer faces.

Expansion—Thirty-Five Is Not Enough The MRC88 has built-in 35 Watts per channel amplifiers for six zones and pre-amp outs for all eight zones. Team the MRC88 up with the new design matched Xantech PA435X Power Amplifier and you’ll have eight zones at 35 Watts per channel. Or, for large rooms or outdoor areas, team it up with the new design matched Xantech PA4100X and you’ll have 35 Watts per channel in six zones and 100 Watts per channel in the other two zones, perfect for patio or pool-side.

Easy Dealer Installation, Easy Homeowner Use The MRC88 installs easily in both new construction and as a retrofit. That is, connection of keypads to the Controller/Amplifier is a snap; this is virtually a Plug n’ Play product.

After connecting all cables and IR emitters, IR codes are learned from source component hand-held remotes or from the MRC88’s built-in IR code library and downloaded in a breeze using the acclaimed and proprietary Xantech Dragon Drop-IR™ software.
