Controller Model 590-00

590.gif

The 590-00 gives the custom installer the ability to use any push button or contact closure to initiate infrared commands. The 590-00 incorporates 16 isolated input circuits and a learning microprocessor. There are 16 pairs of screw terminals on its rear panel for use with up to 16 individual contact closures. Now the installer can design any configuration of buttons needed for a particular project to control up to 16 functions. The type of contact closure is only limited by the installer’s needs and creativity. The closure could be a simple push button or buttons built into a J-box in a wall to control an A/V system hundreds of feet away. Or be really innovative and use a micro switch built into a chair to turn a stereo system on when the user sits down! Any time a need arises to create an infrared command from a simple contact closure, transistor switch or control voltage output, think of the 590-00.

  • Microprocessor learns & duplicates IR commands generated by IR remote controllers.
  • Multi-function sequencing for up to 10 commands per key, button, or contact closure of any type.
  • DIP switch selection of four banks for sequencing. Each bank may contain 16 different commands.
  • Infrared output terminals, "O" and "G", are compatible with all Xantech brand IR control systems. Use 789-44 or 791-44 Connecting Blocks for emitter expansion.

The 590-10 gives the custom installer the ability to use any push button or contact closure to initiate infrared commands. The 590-10 incorporates 16 isolated input circuits and a learning microprocessor. There are 16 pairs of screw terminals on its rear panel for use with up to 16 individual contact closures.

  • Programmable with Dragon Drop-IR™ Programming Software.
  • Multi-function sequencing for up to 40 commands per key, button, or contact closure of any type.
  • Infrared output compatible with all Xantech brand IR control systems. Use 791-44 connecting blocks for emitter expansion.
  • Memory: 8 Kbytes E2PROM
  • IR Carrier Frequency: 31.25 kHz to 71.50 kHz
  • Power Requirement: Xantech 782-00 power supply
  • Maximum Peak IR Signal Output Current: 100 milliamps
  • COM Port: RS232 Signal Compatible

  • Controller Model 598-00

  • 8-button key pad.
  • Fits in single gang box.
  • Requires 9-conductor cable.
  • Includes legend cutout sheet.
  • Depth: 0.75" (19mm)

  • Controller Model 599-00

  • The 599 is used in conjunction with the 590 Programmable Controller.
  • Provides a momentary 12 volt DC pulse output when a steady 5 to 12 volt DC input is applied.
  • By plugging a 781RG power supply into a switched AC outlet on the back of an AM/FM receiver, a low voltage, switched DC signal is made available to the 590. This could be used to trigger a power-on command for a common source component, for instance.
  • Power is supplied from the 590.
  • Dimensions: 4 1/4" x 1 7/8" x 1 (108mm x 48mm x 26mm)

  • Controller Model 710-00

The Fone Link makes any cordless phone the remote controller for IR controlled audio/video components. This allows control of the audio/video system limited only by the range of the cordless phone. Since cordless phones are not affected by sunlight, the Fone Link is not susceptible to infrared interference from sunlight, allowing control from any outdoor location day or night. Fone Link can also be used in brightly lit rooms with large windows or extensive fluorescent or halogen lighting. The Fone Link consists of an interface module that is placed between the cordless phone and the phone line. This module contains an infrared learning microprocessor for learning remote control commands. The Fone Link allows you to use a cordless phone as a wireless IR remote controller. With the touch of a button the phone converts to a normal cordless phone.

  • Attractive case for shelf-top applications sits alongside the cordless phone's base unit.Full function infrared learning capabilities.
  • Compatible with any cordless telephone having tone dialing capabilities.
  • Also works with wired telephones having tone dialing capabilities. l Blast-IR™ output from front panel plus a rear jack to drive IR emitters (282 Series, 283 Series, etc.).
  • Perfect for outdoor and indoor use. Not affected by sunlight, stray IR or any form of external lighting.
  • Range is same as cordless phone.
